Introduction to Pottery

A 6 week course that gives you an introduction ( or a refresher) to working with clay. You will be introduced to throwing and hand building over 6 sessions taught by both Sarah and Katy.

A 6 week course that gives you an introduction ( or a refresher) to working with clay. You will be introduced to throwing and hand building over 6 sessions taught by both Sarah and Katy.

The course will be held at our studio at Eggardon Farm and  will  follow the format set out below.


29th March Week 1 

4 hr class - 10.30am - 2.30pm

An introduction to wheel throwing and hand building. Taught by both of us. 


31st March/ 7th, 14th, 28th April. Weeks 2-5 

2.5 hour class on Tuesday Evenings - 6-8.30pm
Development and practice of hand building and wheel throwing- taught by either Sarah or Katy 

16th May Week 6

4 hr session - 10.30-2.30pm

Finishing projects including decoration and glazing of pieces -  taught by both of us.
