Introduction to Pottery - Autumn 2026

A 6 week course that gives you an introduction ( or a refresher) to working with clay. You will be introduced to throwing and hand building over 6 sessions taught by both Sarah and Katy.

A 6 week course that gives you an introduction ( or a refresher) to working with clay. You will be introduced to throwing and hand building over 6 sessions taught by both Sarah and Katy.

The course will be held at our studio at Eggardon Farm and  will  follow the format set out below.


Week 1 : : Sunday 13th September 

4 hr class - 1-5pm

Introductory session taught by both of us. 


Weeks 2-5 : : Tuesday 15,22& 29th September & 6th October

2.5 hour class on Tuesday Evenings - 6-8.30pm
Development and practice of hand building and wheel throwing- taught by either Sarah or Katy 

Week 6 : : 18th October  

4 hr session - 10.30-2.30pm

Finishing projects including decoration and glazing of pieces -  taught by both of us.
